Northport HS Student Wins Rensselaer Medal

The student will receive a $40K per year scholarship to attend Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute.

NORTHPORT, NY — Northport High School junior Kyle Sundberg was awarded the Rensselaer Medal, which awards him a $40K per year scholarship to attend Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute, the Northport-East Northport School District announced.

Sundberg must still apply to and be accepted by the institute.

The scholarship is awarded each year to one student in any high school who shows significant skills in mathematics and science.
