Members of the community are invited to attend a public meeting this month with the Northport Police Department to discuss police issues.

This type of police/community meeting is held three to four times a year to help keep communication open between the police department and the community.

The forum will be held Thursday, May 17 at 7 p.m. in the courtroom of Village Hall, located at 224 Main St.
Questions from the community regarding police issues will be addressed and all are welcome to participate.
