Northport Man Steals Restaurant Property As 'Payback,' Cops Say
The man was also arrested last month for a separate incident.

A Northport man, who was also arrested last month, faces grand larceny charges after police say he stole a picnic table and chairs from a restaurant last week as a form of payback.
According to authorities, a restaurant owner placed a table and three chairs in an alleyway to make room for a band that was playing on the night of Thursday, April 5. The man returned around 11:34 p.m. to retrieve the tables and chairs, but could not locate the property, which had a value of $1,450, police say.
An investigation revealed the property was stolen by 40-year-old Paul Killoran after police say they responded to a Main Street location for an unrelated incident and saw the stolen table and chairs in plain view. Review of surveillance footage of the alleyway also shows Killoran taking the property, police say.
