Northport Rotary Donates 10,000 Books To Hindi's Libraries
Hindi's Libraries is an international literary nonprofit based on Long Island.

NORTHPORT, NY — The Northport Rotary donated more than 10,000 children's books to Hindi's Libraries, a Hewlett-based international literary nonprofit, Hindi's Libraries announced.
Judy Farabaugh, a representative from the Northport Rotary, delivered more than 100 boxes of books to Hindi's Libraries.
The Northport Rotary also donated $2,000 to help the nonprofit with shipping costs.

The nonprofit was founded in memory of Dr. Hindi Krinsky, an educator and mother of 5 who died in August 2018 because of complications from Crohn's disease. She was 32.
Hindi's Libraries donates new and gently used children's books all over the world, spanning across 50 states, Israel, India, Mexico, Haiti, Puerto Rico and Africa. Books are sent to recipients, free of charge, as the nonprofit absorbs shipping fees.

Since the nonprofit's inception in 2018, it has collected more than 400,000 books and partnered with 750 organizations worldwide.
