Police Log: Worker Pees In Public, Man Faints In Church On Easter

Monday, March 26
At 3:56 p.m., police responded to the report of an irate person who had missed the bus in the Guinta’s Shopping Center on Fort Salonga Road. Police responded and took the man to the Chalet Motel where he was staying.
At 8:32 p.m., a 59-year-old Northport man was issued a summons for leaving the scene of an incident on Main Street.

Wednesday, March 28
At 6:11 p.m., police received a report of a possible road rage incident in which a black vehicle was driving up Scudder Avenue at approximately 80 miles per hour. A man told police he stepped into the road to slow the driver down and yelled at him. The driver then stopped the vehicle and reportedly yelled back at the man.

Friday, March 30
At 10:31 a.m., police responded to a Scudder Avenue location for the report of a man urinating in public. Officers warned the man’s supervisor to make sure his employees are not urinating in public in the future.
Saturday, March 31
At 1:12 p.m., police received a report of a dog locked in a car that was a “hundred degrees” on Woodbine Avenue. Police responded and determined the dog was not in distress and that the vehicle's sunroof was completely open.
Sunday, April 1
At 10:09 a.m., police responded to St. Philip Neri Church, located on Main Street, for the report of a man who fainted in church. Northport Rescue transported the man to Huntington Hospital.
