Wednesday, 'So Affectionate': Northport Adoptable Pet Of The Week
Wednesday, a 10-month-old mother cat, is silly, quirky and vocal. "Everyone who meets her falls in love with her," a volunteer said.

NORTHPORT, NY — Wednesday, a 10-month-old mother feline, is the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kitten of the Week.
Wednesday, the "sweetest little girl with the cutest overbite," was born around October 2024, said Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue.
"Believe it or not, at such a young age, Wednesday was already a mommy," Wild said. "Luckily, a kind lady rescued her with her three kittens and brought them to Northport Cat Rescue. She is so affectionate and loves attention."

She gets along with other cats and took "such great care" of her babies, even though she was also just a kitten at the time, Wild said.
"Wednesday is silly and quirky and very vocal," she said. "She will have a full-blown conversation with our volunteers. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her while she rolls over for pets making the best biscuits ever."
