3 People Of Interest Sought In Shooting Of 16-Year-Old In BK Park
The teenager, who is in critical condition, was sitting in Nicholas Naquan Heyward Jr. Park in Boerum Hill when she was shot in the head.

BROOKLYN, NY — Police are searching for three people of interest in a shooting that left a 16-year-old girl in critical condition on Friday.
The three men, who police released photos of early Monday, were all seen near Nicholas Naquan Heyward Jr. Park just after a teenager sitting in the park was shot in the head around 3 p.m., police said.
The teen was taken to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and remains in critical condition, police said.

The three people of interest are wanted for questioning, police said.
The shooting was one of two within several blocks on Friday afternoon. Also around 3 p.m., a 21-year-old man was shot while in a car outside the Barclays Center, according to police. Police have also released photos of a suspect in that shooting.
