BROOKLYN, NY — Police are asking the public's help to find a trio who went on a robbery rampage across two boroughs earlier this month, including two incidents in Brooklyn.

Police released new surveillance photos of three suspects on Tuesday who they say were behind four robberies and attempted robberies on Nov. 4, including one at the Seventh Avenue G and F train station in Park Slope.

The suspects first tried to rob somebody around 9 p.m. on a northbound C train at the Lafayette Avenue station in Brooklyn, pointing a gun wrapped in a bandana at the 33-year-old victim, accordion to police. The attackers tried to grab the man's property and one of them knocked him over the head with the handgun when he resisted, police said, but the man was able to run off the train.

Just minutes later, the same group went up to a 35-year-old man on a G train near the Seventh Avenue station and tried to hold him down and rob him, police said. The victim again was able to fight off the group and they left empty-handed, according to police.

An hour after that incident, the trio were spotted in Manhattan, where they knocked a 29-year-old man down on the pavement on West 15th Street and took his backpack and cell phone, police said.
