The signage is now up at the Turkish denim store Mavi Jeans, which is set to open two outposts on Fifth Avenue and Union Street.
The 2,400 square-foot space in Park Slope will be Mavi's first in Brooklyn. On Friday, the brand's twitter and Instagram account shared the photo of the signage now up at the location along with the message, "Signs up at our new Park Slope location! #brooklyn#herewecome #mavi #newstore".
"It is an area where the Mavi customer lives and works," a Mavi spokeswoman said of Park Slope earlier this summer. "We are going to use the new store to test various product assortments and retail environments, to better gauge how the U.S. consumer shops."
The brand, which sells men's and women's denim as well as denim kitchen products, has stores throughout the United States, Canada, Germany and Turkey.
Earlier this month, Mavi made some waves by painting over a well-known 'Who's Your Uncle?' mural.
