LIE Lanes Reopened Hours After Crash Seriously Hurts At Least 1 Person: Police
UPDATE: The westbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway were reopened Suffolk police said at 6:15 p.m.
UPDATE: At 6:15 p.m. Suffolk police said the roadway was opened up.
YAPHANK, NY — At least one person was seriously injured in a crash on the Long Island Expressway in Yaphank on Monday afternoon, Suffolk police said.
All lanes of the westbound lane of the LIE were closed at Exit 67 just before 3 p.m.
