  1. Police sought a group of people who stole $1,200 worth of merchandise from a Target located at Horseblock Road in Medford. Four people were involved in the shoplifting action on Jan. 7 at 9 p.m. Security cameras showed the group distracting the clerk and leaving the store with merchandise that hadn’t been paid for.   5. A new accusation against Rep. George Santos is being investigated. Santos is accused of stealing money from a GoFundMe campaign to help a veteran's dog.   • Patchogue St. Patrick's Day Parade is on the plan! The Greater Patchogue Foundation's Cultural Heritage Committee and the Village of Patchogue set a date for March 19 at noon. Participants will march two miles from East Main Street, ending at the corner of Havens Avenue and West Main Street. (Patchogue Patch)
