Things To Know About Rex Heuermann

LONG ISLAND, NY — Rex Heuermann, the 59-year-old Massapequa Park architect, arrested in connection with the Gilgo Beach slayings has led a pretty off-the-radar existence until now.

Here's what we know so far:

1. He is the owner of the Manhattan-based RH Consulting, a building facilitator for the city's Department of Building, and helped clients navigate the construction process, and has worked in Manhattan since 1987, according to his interview with Bonjour Realty last year.

2. If he were a tool, he would be a cabinet maker's hammer, he told Bonjour Realty's host.

3. His clients include Nike, Target, Cipriani, Burlington Coat Factory, Bellami, Catholic Charities, and American Airlines, his website states.

4. He is divorced and later remarried, gaining a stepson with special needs, and has a daughter, The New York Post reported.

5. He went to high school with Billy Baldwin, the actor says.
