  1. The Applebee's restaurant at 1935 N. Ocean Avenue in Farmingville is hosting the 'Short Stacks for a Tall Cause' on Saturday, March 18 from 8 to 10 a.m. There will be live entertainment by Patchogue-Medford students to support the FAME & TRI-M Honor Student Society. (PM Schools)

  3. Good news for those who have a sweet tooth, various Walmart stores across Long Island are selling Krispy Kreme donuts. One of them is the new Walmart Supercenter in Yaphank, nearby Patchogue. Other locations are Middle Island, Riverhead, Centereach, East Setauket, Islandia and Commack. (Greater LI)
  4. Patchogue-Medford Public Library hosts a STEM Saturday Engineering Event for kids in 4-7 grades. The kids will be challenged in different building activities at 3:30 p.m. Visit the link to register. (Patch Events)
  5. Nearby News: Police released the identity of the pedestrian killed in Commack on Monday. The incident happened on Scholar Lane at 6:10 p.m. A 2020 Volkswagen Atlas hit the pedestrian. Unfortunately, the 36-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was also transported to a local hospital. There is a GoFundMe page set up to help the Conte Family. (Smithtown Patch)
