Arson Squad Responds To Fire In Mastic Beach: Police
It was one of two fires to break out in Brookhaven Town on Friday afternoon, drawing area firefighters, Suffolk police say.
MASTIC BEACH, NY — Arson Squad detectives were called to the scene of a fire on Shore Drive in Mastic Beach at around 4:18 p.m. on Friday, Suffolk police said.
It was one of two fires to break out within an hour in the township.
No one was hurt in either fire.

The second fire broke out at a home on Pheasant Valley in Coram at around 4:44 p.m.
In that case, Arson Squad detectives did not respond.
