Bellport HS Football To Play In Long Island Championship At Hofstra On Friday

The Clippers have won the Suffolk County Division II Championship for two years in a row.

BELLPORT, NY — The Bellport High School Football team, winners of the Suffolk County Division II Championship for two years in a row, will play in the Long Island Championship on Friday.

The varsity football team clinched the title after defeating Northport on Nov. 11 at Stony Brook University before a crowd of about 3,000 spectators, school officials said. The Clippers will now take on Garden City at Hofstra University.

The game begins at 4:30 p.m.
