Buffalo Wild Wings GO Proposed For Patchogue: Application

An application before the village's Planning Board seeks to make interior changes at the former site of the Roe Insurance Agency.

PATCHOGUE, NY — A Buffalo Wild Wings GO has been proposed for East Main Street in Patchogue, according to an application to the village building department.

The fast food restaurant is proposed at 125 E. Main Street, a two-story building that formerly housed the Roe Insurance Agency, according to the application filed by Mario Vigliotta of Colonial Property Consultants of Blue Point on behalf of 3 Gansos LLC.

Vigliotta filed the application with the village's Planning Board seeking permission to open a take-out restaurant to include interior renovations on the first floor and outside signage. There is also an application also includes a request to construct a second-floor metal fire escape in the rear of the building. It will include a second-floor platform and seventeen steps.

A request to the Architectural Review Committee has been made for the construction of two 25-inch by 14-foot signs at the location.

A public hearing will be held at Village Hall on Tuesday.

Vigliotta referred a reporter to the proposed restaurant's owner, Megha Jain.

Jain could not be immediately reached.

Founded in 1982, Buffalo Wild Wings is the largest sports bar brand in the United States. There are more than 1,200 restaurants in nine countries around the world.The chain also has locations nearby in Riverhead and Miller Place.

The chain opened its latest location in Suffolk at the South Port Shopping Center in Shirley on March 1.

In Shirley, guests can order takeout or delivery, as well as in-store seating for dining at the restaurant. The location offers traditional and boneless wings, hand-breaded tenders, chicken sandwiches, burgers, sides, and all 26 Buffalo Wild Wings signature sauces and dry rubs.

It is open from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m.
