1. The CANstruction is on display at the Patchogue-Medford Public Library through Dec. 29. The action is an international drive collecting items donated to local food banks. 2. A Lynx caught in Central Islip now has a permanent home in Holtsville Ecologic Center. Leonardo De CATprio was first taken to Sweetbriar Center in Smithtown. 3. The driver involved in a hit-and-run in Holbrook has been identified. The incident happened on Veterans Memorial Highway at Grundy Avenue early Sunday. A pedestrian was killed as a result of the crash. (Daily Voice)
