Great South Bay Festival Announces Return To Long Island for 14th Year
The four-day event will feature more than 50 artists while looking over the Great South Bay.
PATCHOGUE, NY — Despite the recent snow, Long Island residents can now look forward to a returning summer event.
The Great South Bay Music Festival announced it will once again take place July 20-23 at Shorefront Park in Patchogue.
This year’s lineup will feature more than 50 bands, beginning with main stage headliners electric Hot Tuna, Dave Mason and local blues guitarist Kerry Kearney. The event will also present a reggae rock vibe with Dirty Heads, Goldfinger, Ballyhoo! and Badfish.

This summer, the festival will celebrate its 14th anniversary.
The Great South Bay Music Festival is Long Island’s longest running, and largest four day music, art and cultural event, its website said.

"Situated on the magnificent Great South Bay, it features over 55 performers on 4 stages, presenting legends, as well as local emerging artists in classic rock, jazz, jam-band, country, folk, zydeco, hip hop and funk," its description said.
The event will also feature handmade arts and creations in its Artisan Market, as well as a "diverse" food court, multiple beer and wine gardens, and local art organization installations round out the fest.
The four-day festival will also hold its "KIDSZONE" on Saturday and Sunday.
