Gunshot Fired Into Long Island Home Early Monday Morning: Police

LONG ISLAND, NY — A gunshot was fired into a home in Patchogue early Monday morning, Suffolk police said.
It was fired into the Baker Street home at around 12:25 a.m., but no one was hurt, according to police.
Detectives from the 5th Squad in Patchogue are investigating, police said.

It was one of two shootings from the weekend that police are investigating.
A 37-year-old man was fired upon in a drive-by shooting by a person using a BB gun on Friday night in Port Jefferson, police said.
