Search For Driver In Hit-And-Run At East Patchogue Deli: Police

It happened at about 6:40 a.m. on Saturday, Suffolk police say.

EAST PATCHOGUE, NY — A vehicle crashed into South Country Deli and bolted from the scene without stopping early Saturday morning, Suffolk police said.

The vehicle struck the north side of the deli, which is located on South Country Road, at around 6:40 a.m., according to police.

No injuries were reported.

The deli's front facade remained boarded up as of Sunday afternoon.
