Lauren Sheprow Wins Port Jefferson Village Election

The village trustee will succeed Margot Garant at Village Hall, according to Tuesday's election results on the village's website.

PORT JEFFERSON, NY — Village Trustee Lauren Sheprow will succeed Margot Garant as the mayor of Port Jefferson Village, according to official results from Tuesday's election on the village's website.

Sheprow garnered 956 votes to Trustee Kathianne Snaden's 796. Newcomer Bob Juliano garnered 1,244 votes and incumbent Trustee Stan Loucks was reelected with 935 votes.

Incumbent Village Justice Tara Higgins garnered 1,381 votes.
