Man Pulled From Water By Officer After Boat Strike In Patchogue: Police

His boat struck a docked boat in front of Drift 82, and he was uninjured, Suffolk police say.

PATCHOGUE, NY — A moving boat struck a docked boat on the waterfront in front of Drift 82 in Patchogue on Tuesday night, Suffolk police said.

The man operating the moving boat fell into the water off Brightwood Street and was pulled out by a Suffolk Marine Bureau officer at around 6:45 p.m., police said, adding, that he was not injured.

The two boats sustained minor damage, according to police.
