Music & Arts Opens New Location In Patchogue

Music & Arts, a lesson and instrument rentals provider and retailer of instruments in America, opened a new Long Island location.

Music & Arts, the largest lesson and instrument rentals provider and largest retailer of band & orchestra instruments in America, opened a new location in Patchogue this week.

The instrument provider's new location will be in the Gateway Plaza at 499 Sunrise Highway #51.

"Our Patchogue location will have safe, clean lesson studios and provide high quality lesson instructors who are hand selected and best suite any and all of our students musical desires," said Daniel Mele, the location's retail manager. "We will also provide instrument rentals, instrument repairs, performance opportunities, and expert musical advice"

With more than 200 stores across the country, Music & Arts first opened in 1952.

Mele, a Setauket native who moved to the Hudson Valley to open a location, said he is moving back to assist in the Patchogue opening.

"I am a Long Island local from Setauket, and I began studying guitar at the age of 10 and now play a variety of instruments," he said. "About two years graduating from Hartwick College, I began working for Music & Arts on Long Island. Our Patchogue location will be open at the end of March , and I welcome all current or prospective musicians to visit. Whether you would like to browse our selection of instruments & accessories, tour our facility, or simply inquire about beginning your musical journey, we'll be there for you."
