1. Brookhaven Town is opening a restricted area at Patchogue Bay for Shellfishing from May 1 to Sept. 30. The board voted 7-0 at its meeting last Thursday. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
2. Aegean Pizza and Carlo's Pizza Oven are now partners in serving their cheese pies at Carlo's Pizzeria in Patchogue-Holbrook Road. After the closure of the Aegean Pizza, owner Harry Rossis is now a business partner with long-time friend and Carlo's Pizza owner, Billy Lee. (Greater Long Island)
3. The Moab police officer who processed the traffic stop of Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie has been promoted to detective. Eric E. Pratt is seen speaking with the couple after the domestic violence incident report. (Patchogue Patch)
4. The Burlington store in Patchogue has been sold for $7.2M. The building is located at 196 E. Main St. in Patchogue and will be turned into a medical center. (Long Island Business News)
