  1. Rene Chevalley was arrested in Blue Point after he threatened a group of teenagers with a shotgun. The incident happened on April 16 on Bell Avenue. The teens were attending a school fundraiser when Chevalley pointed the gun at the group and demanded them to stop. (Suffolk News)
  2. Singer Christian Guardino from Patchogue makes it to the top 14 on American Idol. The new ranking position takes the singer to the next round. Guardino’s family gathered to cheer for the Long Islander at Perabel’s in Patchogue. (News12)
  3. Backyard Wildlife children's community service is set for April 21 at 1:30 p.m. at the Patchogue-Medford Public Library. Kids will see special guests like a rabbit, a turtle, and a surprise visitor! (PML)
