- A vegan option is coming to stay in the Village of Patchogue. The Peach and Pine Café application to open a restaurant at 217 Waverly Ave. has been approved by the Village Board. The spot will offer a variety of signature dishes. (Greater Patchogue)
- For those looking forward to reducing their car insurance costs or violation points on their driver's license, Patchogue-Medford Public Library is hosting a defensive driving class on Saturday, Sept. 3, at 10 a.m. Classes are $30 per person. (Patch Events)
- The Mud Creek County Park Beach is now open at 341 Roe Ave. in East Patchogue. Bring the dogs for a walk and enjoy beautiful views. Dogs are also allowed to swim in the area. (LIA)
