- The Patchogue-Medford Public Library will be meeting those who want a discounted price ticket to New York City on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 8:20 a.m. Participants can return anytime on that day. (PMPL)
- Walk-to-end Alzheimer's with Jo Bennett – Patchogue team will take place at the Suffolk County Farm on Sept. 24 at 9 a.m. The event aims to raise more than $2,000 to be donated to the Alzheimer's Association Foundations. (Patchogue CofC)
- Nearby News: Trevon Phidd from Connecticut was charged with two acts of terrorism for threatening the Bridgeport and Port Jefferson Ferry with a bomb on Wednesday.
