Here are the top four stories today in Patchogue:

1. The Patchogue River clean-up is set for Sept. 25 at 10 a.m. with the Mac and Cheese challenge treats following. Drift 82 will host live music, activities and samples of mac and cheese from local restaurants at 4 p.m. (Patchogue CofC)
2. Long Island welcomes the season of pumpkins, leaves and hay stacks! Access a complete guide of places to go pumpkin picking in our area and enjoy some fall fun. (News 12 Hudson Valley)
3. The St. John's Greek Festival kicks off on Sept. 23 until Sept. 25 at 77 Montauk Highway in Blue Point. Authentic Greek food and all outdoor fun will be available on the grand return of the event. (LI Advance)
4. A fatal accident happened on Sunday night on exit 62 of the LIE. Motorcyclist, H. Reaves, was airlifted to Stony Brook University but was pronounced dead after rear crashing a Toyota Prius on Nichols Road. (Long Island.com)
