- The ID of the suspect killed during a shooting in Medford has been released. Two officers were injured during the incident on Wednesday. It all started with a violent fight between roommates on Birchwood Road. Police shot a 56-year-old who attacked officers with a knife. (Daily Voice)
- Suffolk County Department of Labor is hosting a Job Fair at Patchogue-Medford Public Library on Jan. 12. If you are looking forward to starting the new year with a new job, that's an excellent opportunity. The event begins at 1 p.m. (Eventbrite)
