  1. Patchogue Chamber of Commerce has a list of restaurants throwing New Year's Eve parties. Visit the chamber's website to see if something interests you and make plans to celebrate in the Village! (Patchogue CofC)
  2. Patchogue Fantastic Gardens Farmers Market will be set up at 67 Avery Avenue on Dec. 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The market is set up year-round featuring local vendors and fresh produce on Sundays. (Sayville-Patchogue Moms)
  3. Patchogue-Medford Public Library will rock the New Year's festivities in the community! Families with children who want to start the countdown early can join the Happy Noon Year on Dec. 30 at 11:30 a.m. (Patch Patchogue Events)
  4. FDNY firefighter William Moon II funeral will be held this Thursday at St. Patrick's church. That will be the opportunity for Long Islanders to say farewell to a local hero who sadly passed away after a brain injury caused by a fall during a training session in Brooklyn. (News12)

  • Police sought two men who allegedly shoplifted at Dick's Sport Goods in Lake Groove. According to reports, the duo stole approximately $730 in merchandise and fled the scene in a sedan. A cash reward is being offered to anyone with information that leads to an arrest. (TBR News Media)
  • "The Grammy Award-winning Mexican-American chart toppers, Los Lobos, are set to take the stage of the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts on Feb. 22." (Patchogue Patch)
