- No injuries were reported on Thursday's shooting at a Bellport home. The shots were fired on Macdonald Avenue around 1 a.m. Police said no arrests were made, and the incident continues to be investigated. (Patchogue Patch)
- Two Patchogue residents are helping victims of the earthquake that devastated Turkey and Syria. Gee Antapli-Zeb and Jaiya Rampersard are raising donations to help. Antapli-Zeb was raised in Turkey and said communication with her family is difficult and frustrating due to the devastation. (News 12 Connecticut)

- "The English Beat, U.K. ska masters key in the genre's revival of the 70s and 80s who developed a cult following stateside, will take the stage of the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts on March 28, according to a promotional." (Patch)
- There will be a reception to celebrate Paul Edelson at the Patchogue-Medford Public Library on Feb. 12 and 2 p.m. The exhibit will be displayed through Feb. 24. More information can be found here. (Patchogue Patch)
- Patchogue Harmony Cafe is hosting an educational program to help those looking forward to eating healthy to reach their weight loss goals.
