- A board meeting hosted on Monday unveiled details of the Patchogue Plans Shorefront Park renovations. The project is expected to start in the summer. - Suffolk police are working to solve Tyler Phillips' case. The teen was a fatal hit-and-run victim on Granny Road in Coram. Officials announced a checkpoint plan on Wednesday in which drivers would be checked and given a flyer to help with any information about the crash. (Port Jefferson Patch)
- Suffolk police announced the arrest of 18 members of Mastic-Shirley area gang called “No Fake Love.” The teen connected with the shooting outside the home of U.S. Rep. Lee Zeldin in Shirley is among the ones who were arrested. The group is believed to be involved in over 31 gang-based activities in Suffolk. (Greater Long Island)
- A man is sought for stealing a wallet from a Patchogue parking lot. The owner left the wallet on a shopping cart at Compare food supermarket. Cameras show the suspect leaving the place in a Sedan.
