- A pedestrian was fatally struck by two vehicles at Ocean Avenue on Sunday afternoon. A 58-year-old Port Jefferson Station crossing the street around 7:30 p.m. was hit by a Mercedes and then by another car. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene. (Long Island News12)
- Patchogue Harmony Cafe is hosting an educational program to help those looking forward to eating healthy to reach their weight loss goals. Michigan Institute of Healthcare Policy released results of a survey that show one in eight adults struggles to keep food portions low. - King Kullen workers are negotiating higher wages to avoid strikes. The grocery workers union reached an agreement and, if approved, will raise the salaries of employers of over twenty-five stores on Long Island. The proposal will be put on the vote Friday. (News 12)
- Stony Brook, Medicine Healthy Libraries Program, will be at Patchogue-Medford Public Library on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Healthcare specialists will answer questions about nutrition, social work, public health, and more. (PMLIB)
