
Art class doesn't have to end in grade school.
The Village of Patchogue's Parks & Recreation Department will be sponsoring a three-part art class, "Exploring the Art of Printing Monotypes,"on Jan. 14,21 and 18.
The class, which costs $45 for three sessions, will run from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and will be taught by Lisa Di Stefano at Patchogue Recreation 380 Bay Avenue.

The class is limited to only 10 people and registration is at Patchogue Recreation.
In the three classes, students will learn the different approaches to how to ink and paint on acetate plate surfaces.

According to the class description, "the focus will be trace monotype, dark field and color."
The class is a beginner-level printmaker workshop so no drawing skills are required.
