Here are the top three stories in Patchogue today:

1. If you plan to have fun on Patchogue Main Street during the NYE celebration, Patch has a guide with everything you need to know to prepare for a good time! This year the celebration will also cheer the grand return of the event since it has been canceled for the last three years due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. (Patchogue Patch)
   
2. Another "Zombie House" has been demolished by Brookhaven Town. This time the property was located at 58 Bayville Avenue. The structure was considered unsafe. Many may not know, but all costs of demolition and clean up are the owner of the property's responsibility. (Patch)
3. Police sought two men who allegedly shoplifted at Dick's Sport Goods in Lake Groove. According to reports, the duo stole approximately $730 in merchandise and fled the scene in a Sedan. A cash reward is being offered to anyone with information that leads to an arrest. (TBR News Media)
