  1. Patchogue Sequoia Deli will close permanently after the holidays. After rumors that the business was going to close down, the news was confirmed by employees. The eatery is located at the Milk Depot on Waverly Avenue. (Greater Long Island)
  2. Patchogue-Medford High School classes were held remotely on Thursday following the incident when bullets were found on the grounds. Parents were frustrated that the alert came after two days of the discovery. (News 12 Bronx)
  3. They say what is a blessing for some can be a "curse" for others. As the holiday approaches, many people may feel sad and lonely. That can open the windows for depression or suicide.   • Suffolk police confirmed that the 82-year-old East Patchogue woman reported missing on Wednesday was found. The senior citizen has dementia and was last seen leaving her house on Ocean Avenue. (Patch)
