Pedestrian Struck In East Patchogue: Police
He was taken to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue for treatment of his injuries, police say.
EAST PATCHOGUE, NY — A 58-year-old Central Islip man was struck by an SUV as he crossed Medford Avenue in East Patchogue on Wednesday night, Suffolk police said.
A 39-year-old Medford man was driving a 2020 Chevrolet SUV northbound on Medford Avenue at Shaber Road when it struck the man, who was crossing the roadway from west to east at around 6:45 p.m., according to police.
The man was taken to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue for treatment of minor injuries, police said.

The SUV driver was not injured, according to police.
