'The Polar Express' And Photos With Santa Claus Event To Unfold In Patchogue On Saturday

PATCHOGUE, NY — There will be a special screening of the beloved holiday classic, "The Polar Express," followed by photos with the jolly old elf himself, "Santa Claus," Saturday at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts.
The award-winning Warner Bros' film featuring Tom Hanks begins at 1 p.m. and runs for an hour and forty minutes.
After the screening, the stage will be transformed into "a magical Christmas scene" where children can meet with 'Santa Claus' while grown-ups have the opportunity to take photographs, organizers said.

Tickets for the event run $18.
'Santa' will be making another appearance at the village's annual Christmas Parade begins on Main Street at 6 p.m.
