  1. Suffolk Police will be alerted for drunk drivers on the Super Bowl Weekend. That's one event where many accidents result from driving under the influence. Patchogue Patch has the story. (Patchogue Patch)
  2. A home caught fire on Waverly Avenue in Medford. The Fire Department arrived at the scene around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday night. According to officials, that's the second house fire in the area this week. (Patch)
  3. Many may need to learn that Patchogue Harmony Cafe has a Lady's Spiritual Circle on the second Thursday of each month. Those looking for a non-judgment environment to express themselves and learn from others' experiences and thoughts. There is also meditation during the sessions.   5. Four new restaurants are set to open in Smith Haven Mall, but you might like to know that a Stony Brook Medicine Outpatient Facility and a Live Well store are also opening sometime this year. The outpatient facility will be located on the North Wing. Besides health care services, it will also host public events. To add to the facility, Live Well will offer nutritional supplements.
