  1. A racial derogatory nickname was graffiti on a street sign in Patchogue. A Mastic Beach resident saw the sign on the Mud Creek Dog Park on Tuesday and reported the fact to the Town of Brookhaven. (LI News 12)
  2. Fantastic Gardens Farmers Market is set for Sunday, Feb. 5, at 67 Avery Ave in Patchogue. Local vendors, food trucks and more will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. No worries if you can't make it this weekend. The market is year-round! (Patchogue Moms)
  3. A stolen car was crashed on Dalia Road in Mastic Beach. Suffolk police are seeking the driver who fled the scene on Wednesday. The 2021 Mercedes was reported stolen in Dix Hills. No injuries were reported during the incident. (News 12 Brooklyn)
  4. PSEG Long Island is upgrading its circuit in East Patchogue. The action is part of the “Power On” plan and will take approximately three months to complete.
