Registered Sex Offender Arrested After Making Sexual Comments To LI Girl, 13: Cops
He approached her at a 7-Eleven and continued to make comments despite her telling him her age, Suffolk police say.
PATCHOGUE, NY — A Level 1 Sex Offender has been arrested in connection with making sexual comments to a 13-year-old girl, Suffolk police said.
A 13-year-old girl reported a man made sexual comments to her at 7-Eleven at 272 East Main St. in Patchogue on Oct. 11 at around 9 p.m., police said, adding that the girl informed the man of her age, and he continued to make comments.
Following an investigation by Special Victims Section Megan’s Law detectives, the man was identified as Ronald Rios, 37, of East Patchogue, and he was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

He is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
