State Hosting Job Fair At Patchogue Career Center Thursday

The New York State Department of Labor and Department of Civil Service are teaming up to host a career fair at the Patchogue Career Center Thursday.

The event, which will let job seeks interact with businesses that are hiring, will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the career center at 160 South Ocean Ave.

Attending businesses include General Election Aviation, US Census Bureau, YAI, Suffolk County Federal Credit Union, New York State Civil Service and more.

There will be job openings in various fields, including shipping and receiving, financial services, support, sales, civil service and more.

Stop by the Civil Service booth to learn more about upcoming civil service exams and job employment opportunities with New York State.
