Toro Tapas & Tequila In Patchogue Reopens As Nahcho Papi
The restaurant rebrands its cuisine from Spanish to Latin American.

Even though Toro Tapas & Tequila in Patchogue has received positive feedback on its authentic cuisine from Spain, owner Ariel Bonilla has rebranded the eatery to Nahcho Papi.
Bonilla said the relaunch, which will feature more Central American food, was a business decision.
"What is new is the style of cooking, prices and the vibe in general," Bonilla said. "Toro was more laid back and relaxed compared to Nahcho Papi. It is more care-free fun."

Having worked in his parents' bodega on South Ocean in 1995, Bonilla said, he had the opportunity to learn about "great food because everything was made fresh daily."
"My journey of culinary began in that small eatery," he said.

Bonilla's family also opened up and owned Bravo Supermarket.
While the Nahcho Papi menu focuses on authentic Latin American food like tacos, quesadillas and platos, Bonilla said, he was inspired to include many signature drinks.
"I am just learning what people love the most but what I see at the moment is some cocktails that are infused in house," he said.
Guests can enjoy a Spicy Margarita, Cucumber CBD Margarita, a variety of red and white wines and sangrias.
