PRSD Hosts 25 Annual Deja Vu Prom for Senior Citizens

The event is open and free to senior citizens residing in the Pearl River School District and features dancing, food, and entertainment.

From Pearl River School District: ¾ Pearl River School District will hold their 25th Annual Déjà Vu Prom for senior citizens residing in the Pearl River School District on Saturday, March 25th, 2017 at 12 noon. The event is open and free to senior citizens residing in the Pearl River School District and features dancing, food, and entertainment in the high school gymnasium. The tradition is held annually on the Saturday following the Pearl River High School’s Junior Prom.

PRSD staff and faculty sponsor the event through personal financial contributions. They also serve as wait staff, hostesses, and dance partners. The Junior Class provides the decorations. PTAs and other school organizations also donate funds to defray other costs.

Advance reservations are absolutely required. Flyers are distributed throughout each of the senior citizen centers in the district and to the Pearl River Public Library. Forms can also be obtained at the district administrative building located at 135 West Crooked Hill Road, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or by calling the Community Services & Adult Education Office at 620-3921.

The form can also be downloaded from the district website at www.pearlriver.org. Click on the link on the home page for the Déjà Vu Prom. RSVPs are due by Friday, March 10th.
