$100 In Tip Jar Stolen From Jericho Bagel Shop: Police

JERICHO, NY — A man is sought for stealing the tip jar from Beyond Bagels in Jericho, police said.

The tip jar had approximately $100 in it when a 67-year-old worker at the North Broadway shop alerted police on Sunday afternoon, authorities said.

After an investigation, it was determined that the man entered the store, stole the money and fled on foot. No injuries were reported. police said.

Police released video of the suspect, who was seen wearing a white t-shirt, black sweat pants, gray shoes and yellow socks, authorities said.
