PLAINVIEW, NY — New pickleball courts are open at Plainview-Old Bethpage Community Park. Due to popular demand, the Town of Oyster Bay constructed the two courts with the assistance of $75,000 in state grant funds.
"Pickleball is a fun sport for all ages that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong. It’s become incredibly popular in our Town, with seniors and families playing daily at our existing courts," said Supervisor Joseph Saladino.
The state funds were secured by Assemblyman Jake Blumencranz (R-Oyster Bay).
