3 Plainview JFK Students Win DECA Gold

Threesome will head to Anaheim in April for national championships.

Three Plainview JFK students have won first place in their division in the annual DECA competition.

The three, Adam Gross, Brett Pinsky and Dan Marino will be heading off to Anaheim, Cal. in April to go for a national title. The threesome from Plainview competed in the marketing division.

The DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) is the highlight of the DECA year. Some 14,000 high school students, advisors, business persons and alumni gather for several days, this year in Anaheim. Most participants at ICDC compete in one of DECA's competitive events. The top competitors in each event are recognized for their outstanding achievements.
