Alaska Buys PureSafe Emergency System

Military department buys water purification system.

The state of Alaska has purchased an emergency water purification system from a Plainview company.

PureSafe Water Systems said  the Alaska Department of Military and Veterans Affairs purchased the  high volume mobile water purification system First Response Unit emergency mobile unit.

PureSafes self-contained, self-powered mobile units are designed for rapid deployment to emergency disaster settings, as well as applications requiring fresh potable water, such as flooded communities and disabled public water supplies, global populations in need of fresh water, desalinization of sea and brackish water and contaminated surface and fresh water with high bacteria or water-borne diseases.

Leslie Kessler, CEO, said, "This versatility is what allows its utilization as an Emergency Response unit, because you just never know what you are going to face in an emergency."

The system is capable of producing up to 30,000 gallons of EPA quality drinking water per day, providing three (3) different methods of water dispensing, from bulk storage to container filling with our special ozonized water disinfection station, to producing up to 1,500 half-liter sealed bags for personal use distribution.
