Charity Partner Sought For Local Chamber Of Commerce

The 2025-2026 local charity will be announced next month by the Plainview-Old Bethpage Chamber of Commerce.

PLAINVIEW, NY — The Plainview-Old Bethpage Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for new charity partners.

Each year, the chamber selects a local charity for fundraising efforts through the community.

The deadline is Aug. 15. The 2025-2026 charity partner will be announced in September.

If you know a charity that would be interested in working with chamber, they can send a completed application to charity chairpersons Michael Chad: michaelchadcpa@gmail.com or Cheryl Dender: cheryl.dender@gmail.com, the Plainview Old Bethpage Chamber of Commerce said on its website.

Previous charities include Jericho Cares, Ariella’s NY Friendship Circle, Sophia Valsamos Foundation, The Rudman Family Food Pantry and Long Island Birthday Wishes.

To date, the POB Chamber has proudly raised tens of thousands of dollars for these organizations.
