Driver Slams Into Nassau Medical Building; 2 Injured: Police

PLAINVIEW, NY — A driver crashed into a Plainview medical building on Tuesday morning, police said.

Just before 10 a.m., a 67-year-old female driver of a 2019 Volkswagen collided with the Plainview Pediatric Dentist & Orthodonics building on Old Country Road, police said.

A 20-year-old woman and 10-year-old boy located inside the building both sustained non-life-threatening injuries. They were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and are currently in stable condition, police said.

The driver was not injured and remained at the scene.

No criminal charges have been filed against the driver, police said.
